Knock retard!
My data logger tells me I'm getting up to 11 degrees of knock retard between 4000 and 5000 rpm with or without nitrous on drag strip runs. I tried some octane booster and it seemed to help a little. How do I determine if I'm getting false knock?

Just what you're doing! Try some 100 octane-if no more knock, then it wasn't false! Are you running the stck timing tables? Timing nitrous controller?
If you're not retarding the timing with nitrous/and still have the stock tables-odds are it's real knock.
I've found almost all the stock tables too agressive.

I am sick and disgusted by people who want to "knock retards"! First, they are developmentally disabled, not retarded, and second, they need help and understanding, not knocking!
