Default kinda stupid question from a newby

I am looking at an 87 that runs 13.5s (L98, mods unknown) without the nitrous and has a 150 horse, single-stage wet system. (NOS #5151)

Is this safe to run normally? If I got it, I would want to use it for entertainment on the highway and to show off. Would this work in the long term? Or would I need to take it down to around 75 horse?

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, What does wet mean? as opposed to a dry system?

ok, thanks. So the stock parts should be able to handle the 150. How long do you normally boost for at a time? 1-2 seconds? 3-5 seconds? How quickly does it heat up the engine?

Dry system only sprays nitrous gas into the intake. Wet sprays both fuel and nitrous. :seeya

leaner all you can before getting behind the wheel for a car like this !!!!!!!!
13's is quick for a street car and can be a big hand full it is real easy to be on the wrong end of a bad thing. also 150 hp of n.o.s. will need to be monitored very carfully the cast pistons will go south quickly over 125hp of spray . you might want to look some were else you only have this guys word that this is a good car with no issues that will cost big down the road
:yesnod:

if you get it be careful who you street race if you go down by D.C. :flag :reddevil

We have a new post of 150 hp blowing up. Be sure that you have all of the safety extras such as a window switch and WOT switch. I would not run more than 125 hp. :smash:
