Default Ignition switch

If anyone has an idea on this, please share. When I turn the key to accessory, nothing works. No radio, windows or anything else that woks on my everyday car. It's an '87. I bought it back in October last year, so I am fairly new to the Corvette community. I have done some work to it, such as new radio, warning light circuit board, but nothing ever came on since I bough the car when the key is on accessary. What should be working when it is? Thanks

each model year is different each model and car line is different. right off hand I know that my window do not work on acc, You can buy the orininal owners manual from a few places and it gives you a ton of information and it also helps complete the package that you have for your car. In not able to get to my owners manual right now so maybe some one else can pitch in a give futher info on what works on acc

When the ignition key is in the accessories position, the radio and wipers should work.

Verify the windshield wipers work.
If you installed an aftermarket radio the Yellow wire should have power when the key is in the accessories position.

If both radio and the wipers don't work, could be the key cylinder needs lubing or the ignition switch which is located down the middle of the steering column needs adjusting.

When you turn the key cylinder a rod moves the ignition switch position forward or backwards.

You adjust the ignition switch so it has all six positions.
Accessories, Lock, Off, Run, Bulb Test and Start.

You loosen a nut and a bolt. Slide the switch either way until you have all positions.
