Good convertible top
I am looking to have a top installed on my 88. I am talking to two installers, both have been around for a looong time. Both charge 300 to 350 labor. One of them said I could get the top while the other wanted to sell me his. He only offered one brand and it is one I have not seen people on here talk about. Seems like it was lustrum or something that sounded like that but it was over 400 for vinyl while I can get a Robbins for under 250. What brands do ya'll use.

Unless you are a sticklier for keeping it stock, I'd go with the Eckler's top and spring for the kit to make it a '94 top. Eliminate that plastic window and opt for the glass. What a difference. After replacing 2 windows I did so and never looked back....well, when I do it's clear!!!

I believe Ames and Performance Years have stopped selling Electron. I believe they sell Key tops now. I had the owner of a custom upholstry shop and the owner of Electron pointing fingers at each other. Of course, I wound up with the short end. Fabric is so thin rain rails are visible and installer claimed they are not correctly cut. Obviously your mileage may vary.
