Default Lt1 cooling T junction question

1994 base model mostly stock 133k miles. I am putting in a new 2 row radiator and replacing the broken analog gauge temp sensor that was broken when I bought the car. I was finishing putting the car back together and took a look at the little metal t junction that takes coolant to the throttle bottle. I noticed a fair amount of rust on the inside. So I tried to clean it. Of course there were holes when I was done. Do they still sell this part? I can't seem to find it. Also, if I decide to just bypass the throttle body, won't that cause issues when driving it in New Jersey winter temps?

The Tee is 3/8 OD and can be purchased just about any where, the 3/8 coolant hose can be found at NAPA for about $1.25 a foot, and you need about 5 feet unless of course you by pass the T/B..

Now here is the part you need to pay attention too; the 3/8 hose travels from the "T" to a "Straight" aluminum pipe that runs along side the wheel well. At the 3/8 hose to the straight aluminum pipe connection, and pressed into the straight pipe itself is an Brass insert with a small drilled orifice, I found mine to be obstructed with crud, and easily cleaned..

This pipe is what is used to allow the air/antifreeze from the heads to work its way up to the surge tank.

Thanks. I decided to just bypass the t junction with a straight connector and plug the passenger side hose. Car seems to be working well, no leaks and the analogue gage is finally working again. I will start another tread when I get a chance to post some pics and information about the radiator since it is not oem for those interested.
