Default Ordered My MSD Digital-6+ and HVC Coil

I cant wait for them to come in. It will be here on Friday.
I got the...
-MSD Digital-6 Plus
-MSD HVC Coil
I got the coil for it because MSD designed it for the Digital-6 so why not right. It was expensive, but you pay for what you get. Its probably not gonna make a huge difference at all.. but its gonna be great for the NO2 and I like the 2 stage rev limiter for when I get to the line. Should be cool stuff. What do u guys think? Keep in mind Im not looking to get much power from it until other mods and gettin the RPMs up there... but I will always have it and in the future it will help more and more

Is the HVC coil a direct replacement for stock? I am running the MSD Blaster coil because it is plug and play. Can't go wrong with the 6 though.

Blaster HVC Coil, PN 8252
The Blaster HVC Coil is right at home on the street or strip. The Coil is designed to produce maximum power with an MSD 6 Series Ignition Control. Special windings and material were chosen by MSD engineers to efficiently produce High Voltage and Current. Low primary resistance allows the coil to take in all of the MSD's energy and instantly step up the voltage combined with a high amount of current. This combination delivers a powerful spark to the plug for complete combustion in the cylinder.
The coil windings are encased in epoxy and held secure in a heavy duty aluminum housing. The tall secondary tower accepts an HEI style plug terminal and boot and heavy duty vibration mounts are supplied for a secure mount.

I figured I had to buy it when it said... " The Coil is designed to produce maximum power with an MSD 6 Series Ignition Control. "

If you want to upgrade your coil, you want to use the MSD-8226 for '92-96 LT1 engines. You don't want to use the one you ordered.

It may be designed with that ignition box in mind, but your car uses a different type of coil.

Yes, perhaps, but doesn't his 91 use a different style coil than the LT1?

Nathan, not sure what I was thinking. I thought he had a '92 (wasn't even putting the color with the year). Been posting too much I guess. I think I got this post crossed with another one in my mind. Forgive me Kevin.

I'm planning on getting the Digital 6. I want to utilize the dual stage rev limiter for launching.

You use a line-loc for a burnout, not as a trans-brake. At least.... I don't know anyone doing that. :)

You have a 6-speed. You use the clutch to launch.
