Hey all, I've researched this, and seem to be having trouble finding what I need. I just picked up a set of Melrose Smooth Flow Headers and Allen's Chambered Mufflers to complement them (1996 LT4). The headers have NO AIR/EGR, so the plan is to remove the air pump and associated hardware. What do I need to plug the AIR tube that goes into the rear of the intake? It's an odd trapezoidal shape, and my research hasn't turned up a concrete answer. Thanks for the help!
Its probably just managed differently than others but the basics would be the same.
its this "tube" with the flanged ends that you are interested in and the EGR supply tube/line is the ONLY thing that would fit the description that you have given...
Look at this link for some ideas...
regardless, the plate is cut to fit the flange with the 2 bolt holes. It may have a groove or ring cut in the face for a seal ring so there was no exhaust leak there....not sure on that but that's how I would do it.
