Just saw this on a local Craigslist a guy that has Impala parts up the Wazuuu Says he has stripped out 27 of them Need any parts for ur Impala SS

I would definitely look at the fuel system first. There is one little part that seems to be overlooked alot, and that is the fuel pressure regulator. If it's fine and your pressure is good, check the injectors for pulsing.

The one part I might add to the equation is the opti harness. But at 235K, I really wouldn't call getting a new coil, icm, harness, and cap and rotor neccessarily "throwing parts" at the car. These are considered maintanence items, and it's probably time.
