4 Wheel Alignment
I was looking for tires and the man at the Firestone tire store told me my rear tires were cupped and I needed a 4-wheel alignment. I had just rotated the tires from front to back. I supposed the tires were cupped from the front end. Tires look even side to side as far as I know.
Anyway he said it would cost $69.95 for the 4 wheel alighment.
Is it wise to take a vette to a tire store for a 4 wheel alignment?
How difficult is it to perform the 4 wheel alignment.

Hey Jim, Don't even try to do a four-wheel alignment yourself (some other member may disagree). The newer shops will have the equipment to do a precise alignment. There are some places that offer a lifetime policy. The price is not that bad. You should never skimp on your Vette.

Tire stores are ok if you have a good one in your area.............. BUT it was a tire store that almost put a jack through my floor one time.............. now I have my own tire machine ..........but anyway ......... yes you can get a good job done by a tire store ...........ask for a printout before and after so you can check it out .........if you don't understand the measurements ask here on the forum ............... we'll help you understand it ........ I told someone the other day to look at what the measurements wind up as and don't settle for "it's in the green" ......... that might be OK for checking but if they align it you want it "on the money" ............. :seeya
