Default Where do these go?

Hello all!

I'm in the process of putting the '85 back together and seem to be at a roadblock. There's one small piece that seems to be part of a sensor? The other looks like a hose connects to it. Pictures are attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That hose fitting might be part of the AIR diverter assy.

For that sensor, is there a hole in the EGR pipe or in the clock below #6 & #8 spark plugs?

Thanks for the response. We're going to check on that when we continue tomorrow. I'd like to hear if anyone else can confirm or has further input.

I was able to take a few pics they are in the garage also.
I broke mine so I had to replace, If I remember the drivers side egr tube(in the manifold goes around front and into the lower(#1)
then the other opening goes to a muffler type thing hanging down. They connect together and the top one(#2) ultimately goes around and down to the passenger side manifold tube.
Good Luck

I love the pictures, but could you take some from the other side? I'm looking for where one hose connects (thus the red circle in the pictures).

In the top picture, it goes in the rubber hose that's down and to the right.

The second picture is the EGR temperature switch contact. It looks like the switch's ceramic part got broken and that is all that's left of the connection:

Both of the units have the downward nozzle(circled red) to the respectibe metal tube that should be straight below them. Orientate them and I believe the tubes go down and over to picture 22.
I could not see them because they are hidden, But my guess is
red circle goes to the bottom tube in pic 22, but they need the metal piping in relationship to them. Forgive my spelling.
Mabey someone else can chime in.
