I have a 94 and the passenger side window is stuck in the closed/up position. I do not have any motor noise. I did a search and looked at the service manual. Is the motor attached with rivets to the regulator or can I replace the motor without taking the regulator out Looking for some tips for an easy replacement.
Have you jumpered power & ground to the motor connector to eliminate the sw & wiring as possible problem areas? In my '88 Vette the connector at the sw tends to corrode over time and not function till cleaned.
When the power window stopped working in my prior '88 Vette I replaced the assy (lift & motor), a bit of a PITA.
When a similar problem hit my '88 IROC-Z I was able to purchase just the motor. There I had to stake the gear before drilling out the rivets to keep the spring from flying apart and to hold the assy in position till I could bolt in the new motor.
