Default Question on 2 bar map

I'm looking to input a 2 bar map signal to my datalog of a wideband.
Isn't the 2bar map a 5volt ref.-then I could connect it to the 5v input on the laptop to correlate boost #'s with f/a and rpm?

Drive it,

Hopefully, I'm answering your question . Yes basically the 5 volts would correlate to WOT (what ever your boost would be, 2.5 would be approximately what the car would be at WOT normally aspirated. (approximately 0 boost) You could probably set up a couple comparitors to skew the input from ~ 0 to 5 volts so that you can adjust the signal to the nmount of boost you are running.

I have a calibration setting simular to this with the carrolsupercharging to modultae the fuel pump while under boost... it has a 2 bar map as well that I run parallel to the 1 bar runnin the car... so the 2 bar kicks in at 0 psig and ten I cal the upper end for the 8 pounds of boost...

Yes it's a 5V reference and you should be able to read an log it. Here's an example of a Delphi (GM) 2bar MAP with temperature compensation; shows a full scale output range of .25 - 4.5V. Left as an exercise for you to convert pressure in kPa to psi...
