Tranny fluid leak ! HELP
I've noticed a few months ago that tranny fluid started to leak.
Now every time when I go for drive and come home, park the car
over night, in the morning there is some trans. fluid on the floor.
It looks to me that it's leaking more than before.
I've checked trans. fluid level and it's still the same but I really
don't like to see any fluids under my car.
Do You have any experience with this sort of problem?
What are usual soft spots?
:chevy

Re: Tranny fluid leak ! HELP (SlowJoe)
It could leak from front seal, rear seal, pan gasket, gear selector seal, or trans lines. All but the front seal can be repaired with the tranny in place. You need to get the car up in the air wipe everything down and look for the source.

Re: Tranny fluid leak ! HELP (Sliding)
I've checked and pan bolts were loose.
I've also changed trans. fluid yesterday ( 4.5 quarts ), so I'll see with time
if there will be any more leaks.
I'll change two more times so that all of old stuff will come out.
For now everything seems O.K.
Thanks for help.
