1989 idle problem
My autimatic 1989 has a idle problems, where it idles high (15-18 Rpms) in park but once put into gear it drops dramatically until the point of stalling. Any ideas on what it could be?

with the guys above... Pull the IAC and clean it with spray cleaner..Pull the bottom plate off the Throttle body and clean all the channels under there with an old tooth brush and cleaner...Then set your minimun idle like suggested if it's still off...Don't forget to check for a vacuum leak....
