torque converter for 86 automatic
Im looking into getting a new torque converter for my 86 auto. It has a V6 converter in it now I was told. I have no idea why but that's what was done when the tranny was refreshed. I would like some more off the line power. Here are the specs of the engine. I drive this car a few times a week to work. The car will eventually get a super charger.
383 stroker
Ported dart pro heads
accel intake
30 pd injectors
58mm throttle body
compression is 9 to 1 superram
3:54 gears
Cam specs
valve lift .480 and 264 duration intake
480 and 274 on exhaust
.20 camlift, 210 duration @ .050 intake and .32 camlift and 216 duration on exhaust
