Default Neapco U joints

Anybody using these U joints? As far as I can gather they are USA made and right now Rockauto is having a close out special on the 1310 series non greasable half shaft joints. I have to replace my right side pair cuz I am getting the clack clack and chirping so they arent long for this world. Its going to be a "while I am in there" deal replacing the wheel bearings and rebuild my E brake. I picked up teflon washers from the dealer as my '85 doesnt didnt have any from the factory and no PO has installed them either. It will be a long weekend.

Anyway, thoughts on Neapco?

The "close-out" pricing won't do you any good for your half-shafts". I buy nothing from RA but if the joints are 1st quality product from Neapco there should be no issues. Are they? I trust nothing from RA particularly when they have some of their "close-outs".

Half-shafts are 1350 joints.

Dave, why the distrust of RA? I respect your opinion very much and if you have had bad luck with them I wont deal with them. I have bought stuff for my Jeep from them without any problems.

I will call them tomorrow and see what the deal is on the closeout.

If the 1350s are the half shaft, the 1310s are for the drive shaft? I just replaced those with Moog/Precisions last week.

I just bought a set for my half shafts. They are strong quality pieces. A heck of a deal for the price IMO.

The Neapco U Joints are fine for stock replacement parts but I would not recomend anyone use them on anything but a stock car.

I put these Neapco Brute Force U Joints under my 92 in 2008 right after I built the engine... On it's first trip to the drag strip they cost me a bunch of money.

Now I only run the Cold Forged SPICER or the non greasable MOOG U Joints.
