Default headlight motor problem

In my 94 coupe My headlight just started opening half way most of the time. After operating several times sometimes it will open all the way but looks like it is bouncing a little. Is there a general problem or do I need to just change out the motor asymbly. Before I get involved it is alwayse good to ask my friends on the board if there are any tricks or things I need to ck while I have apart. Thanks terry

Probably the bushings. About 5 bucks from your favorite Vette mag.

You are right. I removed the motor and took apart and the gear looks ok but there is a lot of ground up plastic inside. I assume this is the bushings. The kit from corvette america shows three square bushings. Do all three go inside one motor and if so do they send a drawing to show where they go or how to install the bushings? Thanks for the tip..$5 is much better than what they would charge for a complete motor..It always helps to come here first..
