85 getting 54 code
checked the ecm, getting code 54, disconnected battery ran it for a day, checked today and back to a 54 code, fuel switch? I wouldn't even begin where to look any help greatly appreciated

Got it fuel pump relay switch piece if cake to change May as well start there...

This is the fuel pump circuit diagram for my '86. I think it's probably pretty close to an '85. From the diagram you can see that if the fuel pump is running then the problem has to be in the wire that goes between the splice at pin L of C237 and ECM pin B2 (pin numbers are probably different on the ECM since they used a different ECM in 1985):
