Default Building - tuning

Heyall:

I am a bit of a novice when it comes to ECM programming.

I just bought a LT1 short block. (long story, short) I am going to build, and I am going to use a little bigger cam etc. I would like to know a couple things. I am looking to get ahold of a LT4 hot cam package, and am a bit weary of hacking into the ECM to adjust the fuel map. I do know that if I start to change the cam and intake properties, I will need to make adjustments. The motor/trans is out. The damage is done. What should I expect to take on for this project? Is there such a thing as "plug and play" application if I go to the different cam?

Also- I am in metro detroit, and if there are any guys out there who knows a trust-able (in area) source with a dyno who is willing to help out, by all means, I have reasonable money to spend to get this car going....FASTER!
