Hey everyone! I'm having problems with my cold start line. After I did a second intake rebuild (long story) I am having fuel spray out of the rear of my fuel rail, at the 9th injector line. When I was reinstalling I was extremely frustrated because my driver side runner gasket would not sit, spent at least an hour trying to thread one bolt. I ended up being a little rough with the cold start line. The line itself has always leaked a tiny tiny bit but not enough for me to spend 200 dollars on a new line. It is now spraying fuel whenever the key was in the on position, I pushed on the line with a screw driver and now it's at a small dribble in the on position. Is there a way I can remove that line, put a new o-ring or sealant and call it a day? Or do I have to purchase a new line? The line itself is not ripped or cracked or damaged. It's leaking from the back of the fuel rail itself. I believe there's a double threaded nut that sits on the back of the fuel rail, then a threaded cap to hold the cold start line into place, right? Could I replace that cap or nut?
I was researching about the cold start delete kit. I can get the blocking plates on eBay or K & B Corvette for about 30 bucks delivered but I would have to reprogram my ECU. I don't have the tools to reprogram my ECU so I'm not sure about that option and a new wiring harness is a pain. Would it throw a code because of the sensor? If it's what has to be done to get this car drivable again then I have no other choice. Any ideas? This is my daily driver and I need it back on the road ASAP.
I had a leak at #107 in this picture. The fuel rail has a 45° bevel inside the hole that #105 screws into. The sharp edge of the bevel was slicing off part of the O-ring and causing a leak. I had to replace several O-rings before I finally figured out what was happening. I sanded off the sharp edge and polished the inside of the rail to fix the problem. No leaks now.
In Florida you dont need the CSI. Block it off and you will never miss it. No programming needed, unless you move to Canada.
That was another question I had. Here in Florida it gets slightly less hot in the winter so there's not much of a need for CSI. If that's the case then i'll be ordering a block off kit today.

Not even needed in Canada, mind you, I park mine from Dec to March.
Drove for a year on the stock tune and no CSI and don't recall any starting problems.
Aluminum delete kit was ordered fresh off eBay for 30 bucks delivered, should be here Friday. I'll inspect the line and see if I can either resell or just give away if anyone is looking for a stock look. Thanks for the input guys!
I just posted about this a week or so ago. gave the part number @auto zone and price of $4.59 for a reseal kit for the fuel rail, including the cold start (9th) injector. I believe the part number.. for any parts store..is SK24. If you are giving away the 9th system.. Raiseing hand to accept. I have another manifold I am trying to part together..
