Any good quality fluid will work w/ABS.

Lasted 7 laps huh? Mine only lasted 5 at Miller on the stock brakes and auto parts store fluid.

Don't use silicone brake fluid. It is not compatible with ABS.

There are several good brake fluids available. A lot of people like Motul (made for racing motorcycles). Some use Ford racing brake fluid. I like Castrol SRF (expensive, but I've never boiled it). There are probably others I don't recall offhand.

Where have you heard or read that? I believe that it's fine for ABS, the hitching point is flushing or cleaning out the conventional fluid thoroughly enough to use silicone.

It's in the shop manual, page 5-1:

"Do not use silicone brake fluid such as Delco Supreme No. 24. Any type of silicone brake fluid may cause seal damage".
