I am trying to select a cam & like the basic specs for the TPIS ZZ9x
I have contacted their engine dept to ask about the valve events - which they cant give me as they dont have a cam on the shelf to read the info from the cam card?? I'm probably not speaking to the right person but cant get any more info from them....
Can anybody who might have a ZZ9x give me the additional valve events which are printed on the cam card.
ie - Overlap = deg both exh & int are open together
- Valve Timing = deg exh / int open & close - before/after TDC/BDC
This info will help me compare a couple of cams for my part re-build.
I looked around and I can't find definitive specs. TPIS isn't the only one with good FI cams. If they can't even find cam specs, then maybe it's time to look elsewhere. The ZZ9x might be the best cam in the world, but I would buy something else on principal alone.
Good luck to you...

You are correct, I have given up on TPIS & have purchased a cam from CamTech, they were the only company that gave all the detail in the valve events, in particular the lift at TDC Rocking (Overlap) for the intake being 0.064", along with intake / exhaust openings at .006" & centre lines of 110 / 118 deg
FYI CT2001 49903A49901B
Lift .526/534, duration adv 286/292, .050 230/239, LSA 114, a little bit aggressive but should suit my blower application with reasonable vac at idle..
