Hood bounces
My hood bounces as I drive my 87 coupe. All of the hinge bolts are tight. Does anyone know what causes this? It fits perfect, and does not shake when the car is parked and I try to move it. I am puzzled!!!!!

Tighten the rubber stops by the hinges and front corners. These hoods will never be free of movement due to size and weight. You may also want to check that all the front frame braces are tight, too.

I tightened the rubber stops and there was no change. I have just noticed a stress cract on the fender, top side just behind the center of the wheel well, I backed off on the rubber stops at that point.
Any other options???

The hinges are probably worn. With the hood open there is some slack in the hinges if you rock it.........been there too.........just can't justify the cost right now so I try not to look
