Default I must be nuts. Do you ever do this?

I finally installed my power effects exhaust yesterday that I bought from a fellow forum member waaaaaay back in January. Since returning home from the install job yesterday, I have been to the garage no fewer than four times just to fire it up and listen to it idle.

I think I need professional help.

You sound normal to me. I don't have the PE yet, but when I get it, you can be sure that I'll do the same thing. :yesnod:

I hear ya. I love to rev my motor up just to hear that sweet sound of the PE's. Some people out there don't get that one, why guys do that.

Why more corvette guys don't go with this system is beyond me.

Is it just the sound or are these systems the best for HP gain in a catback?

I'm going to make a mini video of mine idling! I'd always wanted to do that...just never knew how to! I do, and will.

You're normal!

i'd love to hear some of the different exhaust setups...
jeffvette has a corsa and if you've seen the clip of his ZR-1 his car sounds great!!
i don't think i've heard the corsa before...
i have borla...
i've heard flowmaster,
haven't heard power effects, or bassani, or muff elims...

Wait until you find a tunnel on your way to somewhere. You just can't imagine how many excuses you can think of just to run through the tunnel with the windows down and accelerating all the way ;)

I went to a vette convention in Memphis last month, and a lot of people commented on how my exhaust sounded. Of course I had the full open.

I agree. Normal people don't listen to their exhaust...

...Normal people watch their cars in store windows to see how it looks!... :D

I tend to look at my reflection in other peoples cars. I love to pull alongside someone and watch the sawblades do their thing. I've also been known to drive around at Streets of Woodfield (outdoor strip mall, big teenager hangout type thing) at night with just my running lights on. Makes me look sinister. :reddevil How about driving around just before dusk with running lights/fog lights on? Looks great on a black car.

I also rev my engine just to turn heads. I love my flowmasters!

I made a quick video yesterday of my car idling :D I smiled and must have seen it a few times, even though I could just go down to the garage and fire it up again to hear it. :)

quick question? Which system actually gives you the most HP gains. To me they all sound good or atleast on the sound clips on each ones respective web sites. Actually I haven't heard anybody mention them on hear, but I think the best sound clip I heard was from Borla. Anyway I'm thinking of purchasing a new exhaust system as well. Click to listen to borla http://www.borla.com/automotive/?car...08.161.142.189
