anyone know anything about bypassing coolant around the TB on a 94 coupe? I just read that the intake passage is cooler without the coolant running through it therefore cooler air. can this be right? seems like it would get hotter to me.

There are so many previous topics on this subject, do a search and you'll find everything you will need. :)
Coolant was routed thru the TB to keep the plates from icing over in very cold weather, the only thing is that it must get DAMN COLD for them to freeze, colder temps than most people actually drive their car. (like around 0 F)
At any other time it hurts performance by heating up the air coming into the engine. So we reroute it. The TB will make the incoming air hotter because it would be at the temp of the coolant.
