THE CLAW COLD AIR INDUCTION FOR L98??????
does anyone think its possible to modify the "claw" (3 k&n round filters) to fit an L98???---with all the great knowledge
and input on this forum i'm sure someone can come up with an answer---would it be worth a few of us getting together
and coming up with a design to work with our early L98'S--could be there are a lot of people who would like a set up like
the Lt1 & Lt4/Zr1's can use -----------who's ready to put our heads together?????? jimbo :cheers: ;) :jester

the SLP claw should work on the 90-91 L98's since they have the canted radiator.. but I know for a fact it will not fit the 85-89 L98's

Jeff-----the only problem i see is the connection from the filter assy to the tb----i want to see one and get the dimensions
all the companies i have spoken to said it wont work, but i dont think the sales people have a clue other than what it says in their catalogs

Would this setup be an upgrade from a cut lid w/ a K&N filter? I love the look of the claw :cool:
But i do believe the one for early L98s is slightly better than a cut lid. It draws air from a hole in the radiator shroud.

No the Claw does not, its just 3 filters hooked to the housing.
