Default L98 to LT1

Hey Everyone, looking for a little advice. I am pulling off my tpi and heads and replacing them with LT1 heads (ported) and intake. I have the mod done for the reverse cooling issue. The engine will be a stock bore roller block. I am looking at the melling cam and here are the numbers. 220 intake 231 exhaust at.050, SAE specs at .06 are 304 intake 287 exhaust. Cam lift .312/.320. Gross valve lift .468/.480. Centerline 106/114.
I am probably gonna run around a 2400 stall with about a 3.73 gear. Long tube Hedman Headers with a free flowing exhaust.
Does it seem that this cam will work well with this setup?
Many Thanks

Never Mind. I just now went ahead and ordered the lt4 hotcam. I was trying to save money and decided the engine wasn't the place to save.
Thanks

People have had great luck with the LT1 hotcam. I'm interested to see how this all works out.

I will try to post some pictures and keep this thread going as I complete this work with the engine. It is raining here today. I hope to have it in the car and on dyno by early spring depending on dollars.
What I am trying to copy is an article on Super Chevy where they built a sbc roller engine for a thousand bucks and got around 400hp at the crank. I am already at that cost and I haven't even started to put my engine back together.
Wish me luck.
Thanks
