Default 87 Corvette Dyno

Yesterday I got my stock 87 dynod and it made 203whp and 302wtq. I was surprised and pretty happy with those baseline numbers. Only mods done were 2 1/4 dual exhaust with borla mufflers, a H pipe and stock manifolds, open air box with stock filter, and an air foil.

I was thinking next mods will be miniram, hooker headers, and a tune.

Anyone have any idea what gains I should see with a miniram and hooker headers on an otherwise stock engine?

Delete the AIR pump and "Add 20 hp!" As one vendor claims.

Those GS stripes oughta be worth at least 10 hp.

Seriously, you have a good baseline to work with. Keep posting as you mod things. It will be cool to see what happens along the way.

Good luck!

Headers and a tune should net you about 25 to 30 hp and give you a few more rpms up top

Too compare my 88 manual trans car dynoed 245 rwhp and 330 rwtq with full exhaust and this included headers. No other mods then that, and it wasn't tuned.

Car trapped a best of 101.8 mph.
