I have air bubbles in mine! you can't see it from a distance, it looks nice but when you get up close you can see I messed up a little. It was too windy when I put them one! :mad

Do you just use soapy water to apply the decals or do you need
a adhesive!.
I bought the decals from corvette central and they wanted another $20.00
for an adhesive.
I bought the silver strips but I still can't decide if I should put them on
or not!
Any opinions would be appreciated!

They should be peel and stick. Just use a little soap and a lot of water. I also use a spreader tool from Autozone that can be found in a 3 size pack next to the body filler. The other stuff they tried to sell you was probably a premixed applicator spray that is not necessary.

When everyone is saying "putting them on with soapy water", do you mean that you are just cleaning the surface very well with soapy water then rinsing it? I can't imagine you are leaving the soap on the surface before installling the decal, right?

If you have an air bubble with your decal, can't you take a small pin and pop it, then smooth it out?

You use the soapy water (very little soap in reality) to keep the sticker from sticking too much before you get it in the right place. I usually drench the area and the sticker and then once in place I use the squeegy to get most of the water from the back of the decal and let it all dry before peeling the front paper off.

Im going to give that a shot, there are several small air bubbles, you have to look for them to find it, but still I can see it and thats all that matters! :mad
