Hood Closer
Hi, I have a 86 c4 .. the passenger side part of the hood don't want to latch.. I have to jump up and down on it to latch... Can you tell me if it can be adjusted in some way... Thanks for your time

If you have oiled latch itself look at the rubber stops they are adjustable loosen locking nut and they screw in or out! Out to drop hood down! These also get rid of hood rattle when tightened ! Just a idea!

Which probably needs to be lengthened slightly. Before that, however, coat teh latch surface with some grease and set the pin onto it, to see if it is centered. The grease acts as your indicator of where the pin is hitting.
