Ok, So I finally get to drive my car today. (1988) Get home and blower motor running full force. It has the auto A/C but rarely works. Even with the car off, the fan runs. Pulled the 5 amp fuse next to blower, still runs. Pulled the power plug it shut off. Anyway by reading a lot of posts. It sounds like the blower motor control module. Can someone please tell me where to find this. I can't see much about it in my FSM. Also I have read that some other GM modules will fit? Any suggestions.
Thanks
I really appreciate you taking the time to find a pic and circle it for me. I got home from work early and checked. Sure enough it was right there. Ought to be a easy enough swap. I was afraid I was going to be on my head up under the dash
Thanks again for the help

Warning, a new one is well over $100. If you have a You pull yard near by a module can come from several GM cars. I think the more expensive Buicks, Caddys Olds and Pontiacs used the same module.
Yea I already went to acdelco.com and got the list of cars. Will try and find one in the salvage yard next week. And not tell them it is for a corvette. These guys seem to charge more if it is for a vette.
Thanks Again

Corvettes used two versions of this module. The earlier version has the A/C compressor control in it and all 6 of the connector positions have wires coming out of them. In some later years (I don't know exactly when -- 1990?), the compressor control was moved to a relay. Those modules have fewer wires coming out of them and the pins for the compressor are missing from the blower control module.

Hello, I hope you see this as this post is dead, but what cars can you take a blower control module from? my 1987 seems to have the same problem.

I got a blower control module from a Buick. I think any of the high end GM cars with the digital A/C used the same module.
...Except see my comment about the A/C compressor control. The module from the Buick did not have compressor control. I picked it up at a junk yard just to see what was inside.
