1984 antenna ground
Hello, My antenna has not worked since I bought the car so I bought an after market antenna. My husband put it in it works fine but now my interior lights wont go off. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Before things getting overly Technical off the top of my head I dont Know if they are connected by other than by a possible common ground & fuse. I would start is the interior light switch off on the headlight switch? if yes with key on test each door & hatch switch. if you feel that there is a ground problem you can install a second ground on anttenna since thats were all the work was done.
I am tending to lean toward the hatch switch has over adjusted, put some firm pressure over rear hatch latch for a minute and see if the lights go out.
