The last published OE GM# 10055877 and it's been discontinued for quite some time. I don't recall there being an ACD marketed part # for it. Standard Parts did at onetime I believe . Standard's service number was MF5877 I believe.

Default Interchangeable?

So from 86-89 the same MAF sensor for Corvette, Camaro, Firebird and Trans-Am? Also, same part for 5.0 and 5.7? Thanks for the help.

Default MAF Part Numbers

I did some research on the various MAFs that were used with the 1227165 ECM. Results:

1985 - 14081243 - AC Delco 213-162
1986 - 14094712 - AC Delco 213-163 - Bosch 0 280 213 004
1987 - 14094712 - AC Delco 213-163 - Bosch 0 280 213 004
1988 - 10055877 - AC Delco 213-161

The main thing to be aware of here is that the 1985 MAF uses a completely different system to report air flow to the ECM. You cannot put a later year MAF on an '85.

The 1227165 ECM works with both types of MAFs if you set the option bits correctly, so it will work with either type of MAF.

The MAFs were manufactured by Bosch. Sometimes you can cross reference the Bosch part numbers and get one that way. I have heard that one of the MAFs used in Corvettes was also used on Volvos.
