Hello. I was considering doing a more intense engine build in the future, but I would like to get my facts straight first.
Part of my plan was to purchase a gen 1 roller 350 SBC, and rebuild it and use a forged stroker kit from SCAT. Plans were to also add a 100 shot of N2O.
Before I do anything, I would like to know the maximum horsepower that a stock production block can handle?
Are we talking about used scrapyard roller block, new gm block or new aftermarket block? I personally would go with world products motown iron block since they can take some serious beating

This is a tough question to answer, 2 bolt, 4-bolt, aftermarket splayed caps added, what is the configuration. I very generic answer is 600 HP for short duration of time, if you hold it for minutes at WOT it probably will not stay together.
