All of my interior lights are on except the cargo lights. The tire light didn't work either. Someone has done some monkey fixing to the left of the rear hatch ground switch. Not sure if that makes a difference. When I pull the bulbs I have power on both sides of the connector.
When you check for voltage on both sides of the cargo light bulb sockets, are BOTH cargo light bulbs removed?
Where are you connecting for the ground side of your volt meter?
Remove the diode module shown in post #4, and try this test again.
This is a confusing circuit, so we need to move slowly.

Ok, I'll let you know what I find. I hope to be able to check it this week. The other bulb was installed when I had power on both sides of the passenger side socket. The ground was at the base of the truck lid switch. Thank you for taking the time to help me.

Ok, so when I pull both bulbs I only have power on one side. The Orange wire. Now what?
I wanted you to work with me slowly thru this process, so you could learn some troubleshooting techniques. I wanted you to find the problem. Good job!
Can you fix it? Check the diodes with your ohm meter.
I don't have the right tools to solder it. A friend of mine works with circuit boards all the time, so I'm taking it to him.
Thanks so much for your patience. I really appreciate the help. I'll let you know if it works when we're done. If it doesn't work, can I bypass it somehow? I can't find one anywhere.
