I have done some searching with different words and nothing has come up. What are you guys/gals going with on C4 cars with M6 trans? I was thinking 4.11's?? I heard 3.07 is the performance gears these cars come with. Sounds pretty week. What the heck do the C4's come with as a standard gear set, 2.73's??
It depends on what you are going to do with the car. 3.73 is a great small block gear choice, unless you have a huge cam and such. Tax refund money is putting a 3.73 in my '87.
ZF6 speed cars came with 3.45... I changed my 91 to 3.73.
Actually an M6 could have been built with a 3.54 ('89 builds), 3.33 ('89 late & '90), 3.45 (some '90 & '91 L98 cars and on paper ZR-1 cars. There are reported unusual occurances of any of these. '92+ cars are 3.45 on paper.

I'm sure you are spot on, Sorry if I posted erroneous information. but I was under the impression 3.45 was the most common and I believe the car in question is a 94 or 96 from the OP's other posts.
Ive got 3.73's in my vert and its one narly beast with the 383 motor. Gas mileage SUCKS but it get crazy fast.
I wouldn't go over 3.73's if it was me. To be honest if I was installing this myself I wouldn't go over 3.50something. It turns over to many rpms when cruising at interstate speeds.

I have a 4.11 rear gear and turn 1800rpm at 70mph in 6th gear.
