Come on 5abivt you don't need to be ******* on F-Bodies. They are the corvettes little brother, for those who want good performance, but cant afford a Vette. Would you rather these people started buying Eclipses?

LS1 F-Bodies do perform well. I have run high 13's with my stock LT1 Camaro, and recently put down consistent 100-101 trap speeds at Milan dragway(sadly traction sucks there, so I could only manage a 2.3+ 60ft)
That same day I raced a new 02 Z28 A4. He pulled a 13.6@106 his first run ever! He had a 2.4 or 2.5 60ft.

A person that would race a car with less than 100 miles on it should be shot (not really...but slaped...certainly).

Any back to the subject.
As far as I know there isn't a huge difference between 4 bolt mains, and 2 bold mains. 4 bolts are tougher, but not 2x as tough. For example, I know someone putting down 453rwhp with a 2 bolt main supercharged LT1. So far it hasn't broken.

I have another question. How much tq will the body take (with the top on) before it starts to twist at all? Is it safe to have 320rwhp without subframe connectors? At what point would I have to worry...esp if I had the top off?

And how much does the hard top weigh, in comparison to the Convertable? Does the convertable top create much wind resistence?
