Default 1988 Gauntlet

Just wanted to give an update considering all the help I received from the forum. My 88 auto received new cat deleted flowmaster mid pipes and a new center car as the stock ones were clogged. Relocated the plenum temp sensor the front of the vehicle. Removed the mesh on the maf. Cut out the air box and installed k&n filter, replaced the air intake plenum with a smooth coupler. And finally added a duraflex front air dam spoiler. The car has way better acceleration...starts up on first key turn and has a sweet midrange kick thats amazing for highway passing. The next issue will be to replace the stock radiator with a 3 row and to sort out why my ac controls dont kick down or start the ac. Any ideas?

Sound's like a lot of work? We're happy you liked our Duraflex front splitter. Any chance for some pictures?

This was done over a years time off and on. The Duraflex was not an exact fit as I believe it also is desined to fit the early to late c4 and early c5 that have a subtle different front end. Here are some pics regarding the front air dam.

Shot with a black rattle can satin.

Just enough to fill the bottom front nose without fear of scraping driveway curves or speed bumps. It also has a flat center piece that directs air toward radiator.
