Default 1992 no ac

my ac pump wont engage I have the auto heater any suggestions? could it be low Freon?

You should be able to possibly do the diagnostics using the C68 control panel for diagnostic codes.

You can test the AC compressor clutch with the engine off. Put the system in AC mode and try connecting the terminals in the low pressure switch connector. If the system is low on refrigerant the clutch will click when the terminals are connected together. If it does click then everything else is working and the low pressure switch is probably bad. There is a Schrader valve on the switch connection so it's easy to replace. Unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. No refrigerant will be lost.
