Default Alignment Conversion question

I am taking the car in to get a 4 wheel alignment since I lowered it this weekend.
The problem is the guy we work with does degrees. Like for the toe in and out.

I tell him I want a 1/16" toe out but he can't figure it out because his machine does everything in degrees. Does anyone know the conversions or have a site that does them.

The guy is great and he works great with the cars. We also pretty much get a hookup from him, so that is why I don't want to go somewhere else.

And I am not too good with my conversions either.
Thanks,
Ed

Check out my website in my signature under alignment for the formula and a table for conversion from inches to degrees. It probably is not technically the right way to calculate, but good enough for wheel alignment purposes. A 1/16 inch is about .4 degrees.

Are you sure about that? Your calculations look fine although I noticed you are measuring toe at the wheel lip. I was under the impression that alignment shops measure toe at the tire; thus, would use a diameter of about 25.4". That would make 1/16" about .14 deg per side, or .28 deg total.

That is a nice webpage BTW.
