For what year? If it's '91+ I would maybe consider the F-body GM's to use for replacements. Maybe not but I'd think very hard about it.
Absolutely.
All you have to so is turn the bolts around (so the go in from the back / thread into the hub) and F Body wheel brgs work perfectly on 91-96 Corvettes.
I used the SKF BR930186 for the 93-2002 F Body from Rock Auto ($135.00 each) when my 92 neded new front wheel brgs.
Lots of guys track these brgs with good life.

Hey Will,
How are things - Time "TO CRANK IT UP" - Have you spoken to Richard?
I'm kind of a RA hater and I think regardless of what's bought these days I'd shop local for the best warranty and maybe use the Internet for some potential "price matches".

Whats the difference in the wheel bearings? I assume the F Body is a better built unit. And these bolt up with no modifications except inserting the bolt from the back?

Things are going good all things considered.
We spoke for a few mins last week and again Monday as he wanted to know how the dyno went and how my test session in GA went. I know he's wanting to get his out this season as well.... hopefully he can find time.
Totally understand about buying local when we can but the fact is E-Comerce is here to stay and places like RA are only going to become more prevelent as younger people buy replacement parts for their transportation.

It's quality mfgr and price more than anything.
In many peoples opinion SKF is top of the heap when it comes to wheel brgs, closely followed by Timkin.... Now it could be the other way around dependng on other specific applications but the SKF brgs are the most common in use on track car F Bodys and many C4 people are switching.
F body brgs are also ALOT cheapr than any brg you can get for the Corvette. We are talking $140 each for an F body brg v/s $200 each for a C4 brg. $120 bucks difference to do the front end is a pretty signifigant savings.
Yes - they bolt right up if you insert the bolts from the rear/inside of the spindle. Fittament of the 93-2002 F Body brgs is perfect on a 91-96 C4 except that the F body wheel brg flange is threaded. You could also just drill the threads out of the flange but I fiound it easier to just put the bolts in from the rear....
I just want to be clear because I typo'd the years in my first post..... It's 1993 to 2002 F Bodys wheel brgs that will work on 1991 to 1996 Corvettes.

Reason: IT's 1993 to 2002 F Body.
