New racing toys....
After racing now for almost 15year I finally went BIGTIME. Tired of the open trailer and driving home at 2am from tracks 3 hours away.
Heading to Indiana Monday to get my 28ft enclosed trailer all setup with everything I need....
And for towing, while I loved my suburban, I was worried about towing such a big trailer with it and I would still have the problem of leaving after a race - so to make things more comfortable for the kids and GF, I bought this on Thursday.
Its a Super C made for pulling heavy trailers....we stayed in it at PA wrestling states this weekend and the kids and I loved it! Cant wait till I can take it all to the track and relax and have fun.
The kids also got something for xmas so they can have run at the track!
I may have gone off the preverbal deep end with racing this year!

I got a 28' enclosed last fall. Looked around for @ 5yrs for the right trailer to come along. I bought mine slightly used, it is a 2011 Hurricane. It was completely finished with extra tool boxes, pit pal products, inverter, and winch. The only negative I have is it decreased my fuel economy to below 10mpg But I think it is worth it.

Nice setup, what did the motorhome set you back?
Tow vehicle and temp home all in one
Been looking for a dually myself but they are such a hassle to park anywhere other than home, and one more thing to insure/maintain
My car will easily make it to the track (almost 2 hrs away) but know I could break stuff real easy. One hell of a long push home at 1a
Never worried about it before with the C4s...

What I found nice about the RV was it is a cool place to relax in between sessions. You don't realize how much it takes out of you being outside in the summer heat all day long.
Add to that the fact that you have your home away from home...your own food and beverages (which cost a fortune at the tracks), ours has a satellite dish so we can chill and watch TV...
It is well worth it in the long run...
