Default Dash Lt switch

(1)My gauge lts will not stay on unless you keep some pressure with finger on switch?
(2)Can not get the 2 hex head screws out that hold switch unit in place on rt side, can't seem to get socket on them because of switch housing? Thank You!

It sounds like you have a 1990 or later car. The interior was completely redesigned in 1990, so it's important to state the year so we know what you're dealing with.

I have a 94" w/dash Lt problems! They will not stay on unless I keep some pressure on either directly or to the side of switch ****? And secondly I've made the effort to remove switch box to check connection but have a problem! The 2 hex head screws holding switch box to dash on rt side of box , they seem to be against the switch box wallso bad you cannot get a socket or open end wrench on them? Any suggestion would be appreciated !
