94 lt1 m6 car. I tried backing out of a little incline earlier while leaving the resteraunt. The whole drivetrain was shaking like hell. Tried again on a flat surface when I got home and same thing. Can this be because of my pinion angle on my vette that is slammed to hell? Remember my vette is slammed pretty good. Or can this be related to when I smoked the clutch a couple of weeks ago?
I'll add some bonus funny material:
While looking for parking tonight, I hit a little dip in the street and ripped my passenger side muffler off all kinds of people saw this happen. I picked up the muffler, threw it in the back and drove away from the area. I hate how low this car is. Can't wait to have the shop lift it back up.
...... The pinion angle cannot change with changes in ride height ... next time you're under the car (like when you reinstall the wayward muffler) you may notice that the front of the diff is solidly attached to the rear of the transmission by way of the C-beam (an aluminum ladder type piece of structure) ... smoking the clutch did nothing but reduce its effectiveness and life expectancy ... that's where I'd go with blame .........
How much pedal were you giving it while in reverse? I only let the clutch pedal out til she grabs and then push it back in and coast backward, applying a little gas if need be... I think my car has always shaked in reverse if you try to give it too much pedal while backing out.

You hit it on the nail Torch. I let it out too much and not enough gas. Practice this again just now going up some ramps to service my car. Didn't do it this time or any other.
