I have a 1996 Corvette and the passenger window switch in inop. Both windows were working with the driver's side switch. I took the car into a Chevrolet dealership...they took the passenger switch out and cleaned the contacts (before ordering a replacement switch). When they reinstalled the passenger switch, the window still didn't work....and....now the driver's side window is slow and jerks....any ideas???

Slam the door while holding the window up or down button, it will work again.
This is a common problem wilh the wiring Connector being pulled to one side making a bad connection, slamming the door will make it work for a while. You have to remove the door panel and aluminum panel in door to access the connector/window motor.
The factory wiring is on the short side, it tugs at the connector.
