I must be a tard but for the life of me I can't get the c-beam out. On the back I managed to get a medium sized crescent wrench on the top nuts and got the big 21mm bolts out but I don't have enough room to do this on the front ones. Is there a trick? Am I missing something? Its been one problem after another with the ultimate goal of swapping the 2.59 diff for a 3.07. Aaaargh!
Get the wrench up on top of the C-beam, then push it toward the nuts until the open end of the wrench hits the nut...then keep some pressure on the wrench while you turn the bolt from below, until the open end of the wrench aligns and slips onto the nut. There is not a lot of room there, so you have to fiddle-*** around some until you get the open end wrench to engage the nut. 18mm.
