Installing/Swapping intake.
The intake manifold needs to be put on, the valve covers on, the runners/plenum bolted on, and then installed in the car (and some wiring harness fix's, which I got the rest of the parts I need today).
I stopped working on the car because I was broke, and lost interested because I couldn't do what I wanted to it. But I am working full time again and am looking for a SuperRam to put on, but I dont have time/$ to get one before the 2000 gets here. So I am stuck putting the original intake on.
How can I make sure the intake is put on good? I dont want any leaks or other problems. Also, how much harder is it with the engine in the car to do? When I swap to SuperRam in a few months (hopefully) the motor will obviously be in the car instead of out like it is now. Does this add alot of headache?
Any tips, suggestions, etc for doing this is helpful. The motor is painted nice, looks too pretty to have oil running down it. This is the first time I have done this kind of thing, but I do have a mechanic friend that is going to try and help....
Thanks!
Matt :D :D
