Default Miss fire at idle

1989 with auto. 49000 miles

NO codes

Car runs great except it has constant miss at idle. I need info on the best way to isolate it. What should happen if I unplug MAF while engine is running and is there s way to test MAF

The maf is probably the last thing I'd check for an idle misfire.

How are the plugs, wires, fuel, etc...

Just changed? Then misfire might be mixed up wires or not set well.

I'm sorry, forgot to mention miss fire is why I changed plugs, wires, cap and roter. The car has been doing this since I got it almost 4 years ago, 2000 miles ago. It's not that bad but I want to fix it. I don't know how smooth it should idle. I did have a brand new 89 I ordered in 89 but I don't remember how it idled

A miss is usually caused by a spark plug not firing (or firing at the wrong time). Pull all the plugs and check for one wet one. That will be the one that is not firing.
