Just got an issues fixed with timing and the car is running awesome, thanks to all who helped. Im also having an issue with the tranny not down shifting when I punch it. Sometimes it will sometimes it wont, like today after I got my timing straight the car kicked down from 2nd to 1st and WOW it was great. Any suggestions. I tried doing a search but came up with nothing. As always thanks for any comments.
Adjusted the TV cable and pushed the gas pedal to the floor 10 times, this was suppose to unstick the transmission throttle control valve according to some members on the forum. I will see if this did any good tomorrow.
You can exercise the TV valve by pulling on the TV cable. The springs in the TV valve system are pretty weak and it doesn't take much muscle to pull the TV cable. A lot easier than messing with the gas pedal.
You can do the TV cable pulling with the engine running to get the trans fluid flowing through the TV valve. Without a trans pressure gauge I don't think there is a way to tell if the pressure is actually changing.

Thanks for the info Cliff, I will try that way too.
