well I posted in 2 forums about someone local on long island helping me datalog my 89 mini rammed convertible, no one responded other than suggesting a local place (vette doctors) who no longer work on c4s. I had a custom chip burned from TPIS and they will do updates for free, but I have to send them datalogs. was hoping someone local would help to avoid the learning curve and expense of the cable. since no one has, which cable is the best to buy from who? and what software. datamaster? I believe gives you 20 free uses. still hoping someone local steps up to the plate
If you have an Android phone, you can buy an ALDL to Bluetooth adapter and datalog with your phone. Very easy and convenient.
If you want to use a laptop, consider buying an ALDL to USB cable. With the laptop you can use DataMaster (expensive) or TunerPro RT (free with a nag screen to make a donation).
thanks ill look into it, maybe someone will sell me a used one. cause if I have to buy a new one, ill be selling mine when im done. not building a race car, who am I kidding lol were never done, and its never fast enough

I have both, prefer the Bluetooth adapter.
Thanks for that info
Any link for the ALDL bluetooth you bought? For OBD1? Is this an APP we download?
